Can't play the game with my dedicated graphics card
So I have a laptop and it seems like I can't play the game with the dedicated graphics card of it...I have already tried to manually add the game to nvidia control panel, but every time I launch the game some message pops up saying "Graphic device is not valid. Please turn on configuration tool".

Anyone else having this issue? Is there some way to actually play the game with the dedicated graphic card? Because I can run the game with integrated graphic card but I dont want to play with it...

PS: I have an nvidia 610M, yeah i know its a piece of ♥♥♥♥ but still better than integrated graphics card.

I followed this trick :

1) Open the NVIDIA Control Panel, go to "Manage 3D Settings" then "Program Settings". Add the BinaryDomain.exe executable and set the preferred graphics processor to be the NVIDIA one.

2) Open "Control Panel" and look for the "Device Manager". Open it and expand the "Display Adapters" item. Make a note of the exact name given to your NVIDIA adapter (including the use of capitalisation.

3) Use the Sonic Generations configuration tool to configure the game to your liking and save.

4) Go to the Binay Domain directory and open UserCFG.txtin notepad.

5) You should notice that the second line will be the name of your Intel adapter. Replace this with the name of your NVIDIA adapter exactly as it appeared in Device Manager.

It worked for me !

Change it at Nvidia Panel control (860m). Worked for me, my problem now it is crashing before some intros. Tell me if it works for you.

I tried this, but I still get the error 'Graphic device is not valid'. When I brought up the UserCFG.txt, it already had "NVIDIA GeForce GT650M" as its value. Why didn't I get the same error with the demo, though? The demo worked just fine.

Well, the only setting the game accepts in my case is the integrated GPU by Intel. I've tried everything I've read on the internet, nothing works. I'm not even sure whether the game is actually using the integrated one, but I'd like to think it does because the graphics aren't overwhelmingly good, but they're not bad either, at least for a game from 2012.

Under Binary Domain\savedata\usercfg.txt i have:
adapter vendorid="4098" productid="5686" description="AMD Radeon(TM) Graphics"

How to change it to invidia?
