Does Big Bo Ever Go Away??

I can't stand him, he says the dumbesty sh|t and sounds like he has down syndrome when he talks. The game seems fun, but Big Bo keeps talking and completely ruins the experience! Do you ever get a chance to ditch him or does this jerk off follow you around the entire game?

Also, is there any way to just turn down the voice volume, or better yet mute it? I can't find it in the options anywhere.

Big Bo also gets in the way. I hate Big Bo with a passion!

He is only around during the first half, and last chapter of the game. I don't remember there being a way to turn down voice volume only I think it's just a master volume switch.
*Spoiler* If you're being a jerk to him you might get an interesting end game!! Haha.

This may be an older post but I feel the need to say I agree! I was googleing for a solution and ran into this post. Just got this game for cheap and it's really fun except big bo won't stfu, it's driving me nuts. I'm not sure how long I can play this without being able to turn his voice off or just down a bit....
