If you love Portal, you'll probably love Q.U.B.E., too. The puzzles in this game come from colored blocks, which are related but behave VERY differently. As an example, blue ones are basically trampolines, and red ones create a ledge or a stepping stone. The puzzles are very clever and mostly a lot of fun, and there are some TRUE mind-benders near the end. Best of all, there is no death; you can reset the hard puzzles and try again and again to find the solution, with no reloading of checkpoints needed. My only complaint is the lack of story, which takes from the charisma of Portal. Otherwise, this is a Grade-A puzzler and highly recommended.

No seriously, it's worth a try. If you like 3D puzzle games, this one is pretty damn good. Puzzles are intricate yet visually appealing and the game offers a variety of mechanics to progress from one stage to the next. Backed by solid visuals, it makes for an enjoyable game, no doubt.

I enjoyed this quirky little first-person puzzler. The puzzles ease you in gently, and build complexity until you are feeling pushed. Sadly it is a little short, and the ending a tad weak after you put yourself through all those challenges you don't even get a cake :(
In short: It's not quite Portal, but if you've run out of Portal and feel the itch for something on a similar vein, this is that game.

A decent first-person physics puzzle game, somewhat like Portal. However, this game does not have the personalities or voice acting or as much flavor as Portal. The puzzles aren't too hard. I liked the way it ended. You manipulate colored blocks in your environment, that can rotate or move in different directions. The learning curve is not too steep. Some of the areas in the game are fascinating but serve no other purpose but to look really cool.

Q.U.B.E. is a game about problem solving and navigation. The art style is kind of like Portal but instead of using portals, the player has to navigate through each level by manipulating coloured cubes that surround them.
Unfortunetly there is no story at all other then you wake up at the begining of the game and you just solve puzzles.
The puzzles in Q.U.B.E. start out simple and get progressively more difficult. Progression is unfortunately linear, there is only one way to solve a puzzle.
Q.U.B.E. has also some bugs and the main game is very short.
All in all I would say that Q.U.B.E. is still a good game, the puzzles are very satisfying. For fans of Portal and other puzzle games it is worth a try.

I never got into the whole Portal craze, I respect the praise the franchise has received but I just never “got” it. QUBE at first glance looked like nothing more than a Portal-style puzzle game cash-in. I was so very wrong.
I think the single element which make QUBE stand out to me was the pacing. As far as I’m concerned it was absolutely perfect. As you progress through each chapter a new mechanic is introduced. Each one is admittedly predictable but add so much to the evolution in difficulty of the puzzles. On the subject of difficulty, I was incredibly impressed with QUBE. I have no doubt some of the more hardcore puzzle fans will say the puzzles are too easy, but on the contrary I found that the difficulty was just right to both keep me engaged and also make sure I was never so frustrated that I felt the need to consult a guide. With each puzzle solved, I learned a new way to manipulate the mechanics to my needs. I truly felt like I was learning all the way through and it was magical.
Bravo to the developers of this awesome puzzle platformer. QUBE no doubt gets glazed over by many as a knockoff Portal but I think it really goes in its own direction. I highly recommend QUBE.

Q.U.B.E. (Quick Understanding of Block Extrusion) is a mysterious puzzle game with a smooth difficulty curve that introduces its mechanics in a simple and effective way. You use a futuristic pair of gloves to manipulate your environment until you reach the exit door and navigate through different sectors. While it lacks a deep storyline, it's very interesting to play. Definitely a challenging and satisfying puzzler you can't dismiss.

This game sucked me for hours and hours. You are someone who woke up, in some kind of sterile chamber and You have to get out of it. Chambers are built of blocks and designed like they were taken from hospital for insanes. This makes You feel more depressed and more motivated to get out of there. You can do that by solving puzzles, somone created for You. First they are easy but farer You go, finding solution is harder. You can move blocks, jump on them, move entire chamber sections, and much, much more...

Game is very similar to Portal but it has it's own athmosphere... There are blocks, silence, You... and only one way out.
