For now you can edit the SaveGame.BIN file in WordPad here: STEAMDIR/qube/Binaries/Win32/
The numbers in quotations signifies the sector number. Once opened in WordPad where it says "Count":7, "0": 0, "1": 0, "2": 0... etc
set to :
"Count":7, "0": 1, "1": 1, "2": 1... etc.
-Steam Folder -> SteamApps -> Common -> QUBE -> Binaries -> Win32 -> SaveGame.BIN
-I don't have a SaveGame.BIN though. =O
That plus a bunch of squares that wouldn't copy over.
What's really weird too is that originally my computer wanted to open the SaveGame.bin with VLC for some reason.
I came here to ask if the DLC and/or concurrent patches resolves this savegame issue? My playthrough was on February 8th of this year, version 1.2 of the game. Seriously, I had a great time with it but I considered it a one-shot playthrough due to the unreliability of its save feature. I'd reinstall it for long-term if there's been progress made on this front.
