Xbox360 Controller?

In the store page, it says Controller Enabled, I have all the things set up for a Xbox360 controller, it even works in Castle Crasher, can anyone help me use it for Sonic 4 Episode 2?

Did you go in the config first and change it to Xbox360 controller?
My xbox controller is working with it

Mine won't work for some reason. I tried going to configure first and set it up to use the gamepad but the buttons still won't work.:/ I get to the start screen and try to press start but nothing happens.>> Can't use the keyboard either.

Check your xbox reciever? (I use a reciever to play.)

I don't have an xbox receiver. Do you have to have that to play?
