mid-game lords
What do you think? Better to keep the lame early lords if you've got them to high level, or better to get rid of them and look for legendary lords? Discuss.

Slowly replace with legendary, the kind of the hero matters too! For example the rabbit which is immune to melee and missile, he surely isn't worthy to be wasted. lol

I try to get certain types and make do with fewer heroes until what I want comes along. Any of them can get pretty strong once you get them pimped out.

Yeah, I love my ogre lord. He's big early on, but he really doesn't compare legendary lords.

I try to leave one spot open for a vampire or a bunny:) I like a mage a healer and one melee, preferable an ogre. Archer and Knights are an automatic pass. Not worth the invesment in enchantment money and mana turns.

I love the ogres. That cleave is amazing. Love the unit so much that I put an NPC ogre in my D&D campaign named Roh, the name of the first ogre lord I got.

Throw on some enchantments and the pain train has no brakes. A water walking giant with regeneration strides out to sea and crushes entire navies single handedly. What's not to love?

And don't forget to wind walk and haste him so he can be anyplace anytime. He's a whole army.

Lol so spam... There are many better and more useful lords than the ogre for example mages, legendaries. Terraformistress...

There are statistically better lords, yes, but getting them is still up to RNG and mid-game lords aren't rendered useless later on. They're still effective if properly deployed. Hence why I have my ogre on border patrol or clearing chaff towards a city.

Maybe depends of who has got the Call of Suzerein spell DLC or who does not. ;D Also i did said that in over all mage lords, ghosts and ofc the rabbit are kinda the most worthy to get if not the legendaries. These are the ones I usually pick.

Yeah, the ogre is a starting lord. That's why everyone knows him and loves him. He's a really cool lord that you can often get right at the beginning of the game. I don't know who this rabbit you keep talking about is.

The ogre is a mid-game lord. The rat prince, goblin archer, knight, those guys are early game lords.

you should almost always keep an open slot unless you already have 4 good lords. You pretty much want all famous or above so at least they have immunity to curses. At least for multiplayer. Too easy to kill otherwise. The ogre is a must keep especially if you can find some armor of power to give immunity to banes. He can one shot lvl 5 towns and if you really buff him he has been known to one shot capitals.
