Ps4 Controller Issues

It's a longshot considering the lack of activity here, but I'm at a loss. The game completely stopped reading my ps4 controller after 14 hours of play. I've tried using DS4Windows to remap the controls. I got most of the controls working EXCEPT movement in menus and gameplay. When I set the arrow movement keys to either the dpad or the left stick it just cycles through spells instead, so I'm not sure what else I can do to fix the movement issue. I've also tried running the game with the software turned off but that didn't work. Has anyone else had luck with ds4windows remapping? Am I missing something or should I try another remapping software?

Edit: Finally got it to work. Had to disable steam input and set the left stick to default settings.
