Error on start-up? KBWN

Whenever I launch the game, the screen goes black as the game launches, then returns me to my desktop/steam/etc. The icon is still on the taskbar, whenever I click on it the screen goes black as it goes to the program, then just returns me to my previous window - so it's there, I just can't access it?

Anyone had similar issues?

im going to tell you how i fixed, on x64 Win7

Go to your /documents/my games/ kings .....etc directory ( no the game one ) your /documents

find the file call game.ini.

Edit the two first lines with your destop resolution

save and run the game.

Dont edit anything from your steam directory

just your documents directory.

I was doing before (editing the steam directory) with no success
