fire and ice: clear way between marshan swamp and greenwort? maps to iceland and tungsinn?

apologies in advance for lack of capital letters, my keyboard is sickly.

any clues to clear that magic clump of rocks between greenwort and marshan swamps? rezo is no help. i have tried other mages too as well as the dwarves for advice on explosives and have turned up nothing.

the only group i have managed to form an alliance with are the demons. i'm stumped at what to do with the dwarves. i haven't managed to find maps to iceland or tungsin either.

Work your way through the main quest. Eventually try the portal which will have opened up at the top left of the Cave of Mysteries on the Ice Gardens. Admit, this had me foxed for ages too. You can only clear the blockage from the Marshan Swamp side: there's a reason it's there!

@bellevue, I finally found my way to Iceland (felt very stupid at how basic that was!)

But I have gone back to the Marshan Swamp and am wandering like a fool. Hopefully something will occur to me!

started playing this and got stuck here. the quest says "clear the way between marshan swamp and greenwort". I already killed the undead furious paladin, and can't get rid of this. help?
