Starting Ice & Fire

When I start Ice & Fire, it honestly looks like I've started the main campaign. Is it an extended version of the base campaign, or what?

yes, sucks if you played it already but i guess you could try again with another class and a higher difficulty or something

It's the same game but with an extra area and new units and a new system called ranks. Store says 20 hours of additional gameplay, and that sounds about right. Maybe more if you like to take your time to resurrect units or less if you don't care about losses in battle.

song and ice and fire is the main campaign except it adds a few new items a few new islands, a few new units and the unit leveling system.

also you don't get flight until you collect all the valkeries.

So playing ice and fire is the same as playing Warriors of the North but with more content ? I am starting this game for the first time and I am not sure what campaign to choose to play plenty

At first I thought this was a short standalone part like the 2 mini campaigns in crossworlds, especially because it is only English and Russian, which results in a Denglish game when you play in German. Devs cheaped out and copied the english text into the german file, that makes it at least easy to mod, but confusing for the player. Luckily I read that after just clearing the first island.
