Old School America's Army 2.5

Hey guys,

I know sometimes people wonder where the old school America's Army is and wants to play it evey now and then. I found AA 2.5 Assist! It has servers up and it downloads the game for you and patches and new maps no problem!

i have tried to get back into it, i just cant love it as i used too! probably something to do with the fact the only people left on there are hardcore hospital/pipeline hoes who kick your ass as soon as you leave spawn ^_^

I love playing the old 2.5 and we just need more people. There's going to be a server that rotates maps every 2 rounds so that might help. I agree some nights there are only pipe and bridge.

Yeh its been going a long time has AA Assist.. I played for a while but after playing the new games its hard to get a feel for it again. It was so good back in it's day

Proving grounds is better to play now. No point in playing old 2.0 version.

I just played some Proving Grounds. It is a great game and I don't currently see a need to go back to 2.5.

Proving Grounds feels a lot less clunkly.

i loved AA2, played hours and hours....gonna give 2.5 a shot again
and i am reinstalling PG......i didnt give it a real fighting chance, see how it is after more hours

umm screw all that. i was just looking at the army ops game and that looks far more promising than anything else we've seen for a decade. Screw proving grounds, train wreck of a COD remake!

An old clan mate showed up on our Discord today. We last talked in the early 2000's playing 2.5 in TWL. So reinstalled PG and played a few games. Dont see a reason to go back though
