VOIP NOT WORKING

So my voip is not working on any server I join. I have disabled and reenabled it many times to try to fix it still nothing. My headset works on other programs and games just not aapg.
When I press to talk "team or global" I do not even see the icon on the left of the screen. I also do not see that anyone else is speaking nor can I hear anyone.

You might try to change the voip device for talking and listening to something other than default. Sometimes for some reason it switches back to default instead of what you are using.

I have the same problem. VOIP loopback works but when I join a server it acts like when there are more players than VOIP slots. Doesn't even show that I am pushing the push to talk.

Game only supports 32 voice slots unfortunately. More players than this in a server will mean you miss out.

How does the server tell the local client all the slots are full and turn it off?

I have completely uninstalled, reinstalled the game including renaming the folder in documents.

I have the same problem. Loopback test works fine. Rebuilt PC, added new soundcard all in attempts to fix this problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, deleted the user settings, confirmed that everything is set to VOIP enabled, checked parental controls etc. Nothing has made a difference. When I push the button to use VOIP nothing happens. I cannot hear anyone in the game, All other audio works fine. Hope someone figures this out. I have been trying everything to get it to work. started 3 weeks ago. Its is like there is some files missing for VOIP to actually work. I can mute spectators, and teams (which I cannot heard anyways) but I cannot mute individual players and my player has no sound icon showing.

I wonder if someone with VOIP working could share how many files are located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\America's Army\AAPG\Binaries\Win32

VOIP has always been a problem for a few people as its so heavily dependant on Windows.

Control Panel\Hardware and Sound\Sound > Communications tab
The Do Nothing button should be selected

Already checked that setting. NO matter what server I join, when you press the push to talk nothing happens. VOIP loopback works perfectly. Game sounds work perfectly. How does the server tell the client there are no VOIP slots?

do you have onedrive or some online storage where you can post the files?

General and I spent some time together on an empty server this evening trying to debug this. I'll review the logs and revert, hopefully with some guidance. This is definitely a weird problem in that you can hear everything in-game, but no VOIP even on an empty server...
