Advice about LAN
Hi,

Is it easy to set up a game over LAN? If so, can someone give me the idots guide please?

it should be as simple as copying the game to all the machines using a flash drive and starting a server on the host. make sure ports are open.

Ok, I'll take a look. Do you know if it's possible to just copy the game over from one computer to another? The download speed where we are is terrible. 1 day to download.

yes simply put the game on a flash drive and copy it

So once you've registered the server, how do you get to it?

you don't register a LAN server. You should see it on the LAN tab in the server browser or you can connect to it from the console (~) and typing open 192.168.1.10, with the IP of the machine the server is running on not the one I put in for an example
