punkbuster error 9003

Hi @all, I´m getting this error and get kicked even after donwloading PB from Evenbalance and installing it by hand. Does anyone know a solution for it?

thats a packet flow error... allow pnkbstra and pnkbstrb past the windows firewall and any 3rd party antivirus software. dont just try to turn it off it ALLOW the exceptions.

turn the firewall back on and allow the exceptions.

i`ve looked in the system32 folder,there is no punkbuster...even after reinstalling PB it gets installed in a SysWOW64 folder

AV Software is AVIRA,a free software

yes you are correct ... but they still need explicitly allowed... once the firewall is triggered it usually locks the suspect program even after its turned off. packet flow means there is something blocking the information packets and that is either the firewall or the network card. in the 12 years ive been here ive seen this only twice because of a bad card

thank you very much, now i was able to play 2 rounds without getting kicked, only some PB messages that handshake failed or so,but it worked for now...

I allowed exception for me and it still crashes, I have the same problem as @Ha|KleinerPisser
and the same Avira

a crash is a different than a kick... please make a new post so your issue dosent get lost

I meant It kicks me because I get kicked back to the main menu after a few seconds or minutes I join a server. for "losing key packets 9003"

same solution... reenable the firewall and allow exceptions in both windows and avira.
