friendly fire
Okay so I love this game, look at mu hours ive played plenty, but how easy it is to be kicked for friendly fire is stupid. Total accidents get you killed (kicked from round) and again can get u kicked form the server (sent to jail) two times that it??? Is it a server thing? just found it pretty annoying.

Actually some servers allow friendly fire. So it kinda depends on what server you're playing on.
But mostly if you shoot somebody like multiple times, you get kicked. And thrown in jail. Idk if they are gonna change this rule or not. However this rule minimizes the risk of getting killed from one of your annoying teammates.

I had a shotty yesterday and one shot got me kicked. He literally ran in front of my ♥♥♥♥ and it didn't kill him anyway. Some bs

Was on a private own server or an Official one?

As the previous post stated, different servers different rules, find one that suits you.

FF rule is to prevent intentional tk and ppl just trolling. Imo, don't think it will be ever take out the game.

Devs let the servers owners set the rule as they wish... Maybe the one you where was a little too strict?

Try to contact the owner, explain what happened, you may get a better explanation.

Your obviously stupid, someone else caused the friendly fire, not me. You sound just like the people who go and stand in front of teammates, get shot, and blame the person who shot you lmao. Also I never said get rid of friendly fire, I'm quite well aware it exists for a reason. Learn to read and comprehend friend

I think it was the server I on, usually I never have a issue, but it seems at times any kind of friendly fire sends u to jail. Which sucks because usually it's some noob jumping in the line of fire, but I didn't know before this post that servers regulated that

Iirc, FF is based in damage deal and frequency... And the action taken can also be set at will, from nothing to a instakill to a ban (sent to Leavenworth) and the time of the ban from a few minutes to permanent.

That's why I asked you, official ones have a "balanced" set of rules, private ones can set it at will, as I said before, if in a private, contact the owner, explain your issue, they may soften or not their rules if you make a strong case.

Anyway, remember this game is made by for the u.s. army a good soldier is aware if his surrounding.

You can have your team mates show in world and they will always show on your mini map.

The game is not in a state, we vet players, be accusing fresh players of "noob moves" and drag them out, will not be better if we just tell them a few tricks, rules and advices, so they learn and became loyal fans as we are?

I agree that the instakill mechanic on official servers is unnecessarily punishing for your team if accidental teamfire happens. Losing 2 players instead of possibly 1 typically results in a loss.

From the beginning of americasarmy there's always been friendly fire. You will get thrown into jail for repeatedly killing a player. This probably won't change. Yes accidents happen but if you not a new guy, accidents shouldn't happen. We all should be aiming properly and watching out for our teammates.

To me a caricature situation happened: I just entered the server, I was the spectator, I was kicked for "abusing the voice chat", where I did not say a word, except in the written chat "hi all".

Friend fire can happen in different ways, more common is your friend pass in front of your firing line and this can cause an FF.

Read the effing post dude, the other dude caused the accident. Idc how many hours you have on this game, just because your a vet doesn't mean you have eyes on the back of your head. People go and bunny hop, run in front of teammates, and in turn get shot from people who are covering others. This isn't a regular thing to happen, its usually nubs or stupid kd ♥♥♥♥♥♥ who get involved in this bs

48 hours mate, 48 hours is all you have. I have over 1500 on this account alone and another 1000 more on my other account. Anything you say is irrelevant because your the nubs who get in front of vets like my self who play the game like it should be LMAO

You are responsible for your own weapon. Just like IRL, you shoot a team mate, you get to spend a lot of time in Ft. Leavenworth Kansas.

It's included in the game because people are jerks. Unfortunately it gets some unintentional consequences. I can't count the number of times I've visited the virtual Leavenworth.

Time in AA:PG is irrelevant. I've got time in 5 America's Army titles. Two of them aren't public.
