"Not logged in to steam"

What is happening to this game i cant play it only says " Not logged in to steam" does anyone know whats going on ?

I used to have the same problem after I got a new graphic card (gtx 1060) after I did all the work to get the card to work (updates and new software) it would not allow me to log in. It would say in not logged into steam or a error code. I made a new aapg account but it didn't work. So I uninstalled the game and then Reinstalled and I haven't had a problem since .

It's possible your files are corrupt so just reinstall the game

actually before i reinstalled the game i checked it for the last time and it was working, so i didnt have to after all

Try completely restarting Steam when this happens. It solves the issue for me.

it sux cause when you want to join someone game from desktop. you load game. and it wont connect.. cant they just ask us to enter our password first ?? cause then you need to close game.. restart.. enter your login info then join the server..

but the JOIN GAME button on steam is a fast way to join your friends.. really.. i find that very stupid. easy solution are available.
