malware alert when starting up black ops 2 zombies, multiplayer and single player.

hey guys, i am getting a malware warning from avast while trying to start up cod black ops 2.
anyone else getting this??

Same here. Now neither the BO2 campaign or the BO2 mp will work. I verified the files and still no luck.

yea same thing just happened to me.. same here.. im gonna try going into my firewall and manually allow it.. maybe i blindly clicked block without looking.. Did you guys first get a Steam Cloud client error?

na mate, just an update download but wont install due to the malware alert warning.

just had exactly the same problem, the game worked last night and today i got the malware warning from avast. Not sp or mp wants to start now...even after disabling avast

Got it also, looking for a possible fix...restarted steam, sent avast a report, allowed it manually and disabled the AV..still can't play, dafuq.

if you read mate it was working last night WELL after the 3GB update. there is a virus in the latest small update.

this fixed my mates problem. the solution is towards teh bottom, essentially, restore the binkw32 file, run antivirus update, try again
