Connecting to multiplayer servers through pdanet
I use pdanet to connect to the internet, because my wifi goes in and out while I use it (lose connection, slow, rubberbanding while playing). I can play almost all of my steam games while tethering except for Black Ops 2. It says that it cannot connect to online servers even though TF2 and CS:GO connect just fine. I also have the registered copy of PDAnet so it allows secure connections. Any ideas or solutions? Do I have to open a port or mess with my firewall?

Gnat posted that he got it to work by simply downgrading PDAnet to 2.42
Same issue for me currently with BO2, AW and BO3 but other games work just fine.

I'm gonna give it a try and I'll post my results

I found a way around, it worked with COD Black ops the first one I assume it will work with all.
first download an app on the playstore on android called "Turbo VPN" open it and connect, then connect to your phone using pdanet and run the game. if for some reason you cant find that app just download any VPN app most of them charge for the service, the one I use is free.

Good luck every one and enjoy limitless gaming!

I don't have problem with Pda.net has a good connection for some games but not all games. USB tethering is what I use. I can play "online" for most games but for Elden Ring and I think Hunt:showdown doesn't allow you too. some of the issues I believe is when it comes down to your proxy settings. Some games multiplayer don't use the same proxy or accept those proxy with those servers. So what might be why vpn works. REMEMBER YOU CAN GET BANNED FOR VPN in multiplayer in most games. I've gotten a ban from just using PDA.net when they had COD lost my account and I sent them everything about my pc in detail with screen shots and my play times. I didn't change ANYTHING beside buying BITDEFENDER As an ANTI-VIRUS and USING PDA.NET. when ever that warzone update was I had switched the pda.net, because we had wifi out that day. SO BE CAREFUL USING PDA.NET AND ANY MULTIPLAYER GAMES. I currently have no wifi besides my pda.net. I'm not a cheater never been banned for anything or any game. I've been a long time fan of the Call of Duty games. I had a 500+ account I would never risk that in my life. SO BE CAREFUL DON'T LOSE YOUR ACCOUNT.
