Sound not working :( help pls

Yep, my BO2 multiplayer sound doesn't work at all theres no sound, my ears are working well, my speakers are too, when i open campaign or zombies theres sound, but multiplayer, no sound comes, i verified game cache, restarted PC, and ready to try what you think i should do in the situation, it used to work before the update.

I am also having this problem. Was working fine. Haven't changed anything, tried reinstalling and all. please help

Go to the "Sound" options, BO2 has a way to manually switch between different sound devices. It may be that the 'defuault might be set to something you're not using. BO2 doesn't adhere to whatever 'default' you use in the Windows Sound control panel.

yeah im not getting any sound in multi or zombies but i get sound in singleplayer

You cant chaneg the sound if you're in a multiplayer match you must do it from the main menu.

If you have any secondary sound cards or a USB headset disable those .

all i have is my headset, no speakers or secondary soundcard. tried unplugging the headset to see if the sound device option would be not greyed out, but it still is. this is extremely frustrating, i dont understand why all the sudden it would just stop working.

yes, go settings and audio and change the device and apply if it doesnt work change back and apply it might work

What type of headset do you have?

i just plugged some ♥♥♥♥♥♥ earbud headphones into my computer and it worked. it seems to be a problem with my headset.

I have the same problem with the sound, except im using a 5.1 surround sound system. It works with everything else except BO2 multiplayer. Def not a hardware problem. Happened after that small update a day or 2 ago?
