Save File Issue
I have 2 sons. Each bought their own copy of Black Ops 2 through Steam - each on their own account. They play this on the same PC, however (windows 7).

The problem is, there appears to be only one save file. Even though each of my sons starts the game through their own steam account in their own windows 7 user account, they end up using the same save file, which is in the 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops II' folder.

Is there any way for each account to have there own set of save files? Seems like this should be a no-brainer if you have 2 copies of the game!

As far as I know the saves are stored locally in a default windows folder and not seperated by steam accounts as most games would normally be kept in steam/userdata/(Account #).

Though a lot of the games I own saves itself in the default Game Saves folder under Documents or something.

Unfortunately I can't think of anything that can help with the issue.

If you are using a PC that has 2 drives you can reinstall the game to the other drive. Also I think that if they both had seperate accounts on the computer that might help. Unless they both have seperate accounts already, in that case I don't know.

You would need to install 2 instances of steam for the each of them

I could actually recomand you to save the game with a different name. lets say they play in singular mode and they want to save the game, he could probabily save it with a different name than your other sun and not using the autosave. This is just a sugestion

Damn! Is it actually possible to install 2 separate instances of Steam?
