Logitech G35 7.1 Surround Sound Head Set Not Working As Main Speakers??

Ok, so I've tried everything. Ive set the G35 to the Default Device in windows sound settings, I've set it to the default sound device IN Black Ops 2. I've tried EVERYTHING! Is anyone else having or has had this problem and if so can you tell me how to fix it?

I mainly bought this headset so I could hear footsteps, reloading, etc. in BO2. I plan to use it for voice chat when the need is there...but for now, it's just for gameplay sound. Any thoughts??

I had a similar problem with my Raxer Tiamat, all I did was go into sound settings and set it to headset then tinker around with the other setting until i would get sound, often day to day the setting would change on me, idk but some sound is better than no sound

shut off the Logitech driver for it by right clicking on the icon end clicking "exit". then, go to Control Panel, Sound, and Manage Audio Devices, then set the G35 back to the primary speaker

UPDATE: Didn't work for me :-/ Any other options?

Try disabling all other audio devices in windows. Also try physically removing sound cards if you have one. I have G35s and it worked for me both with and without the driver so you can probably fix this.

Already disabled all other audio devices. And im running sound off my mobo :-/

Why did u set default dev in BO2 ? Change for G35 and press test. Does your G35 work in others programs as 7.1? Have you got sound in BO2 with other headset?

My headset works in all other games and programs under 7.1....apparently since the headset is USB, you cant use it in BO2 for anything other than chat :-/...wish i would have known that before I bought it

i dont get it my usb g930 headset works just fine i know they are not the same but usb should still work on this game

Also, let me clarify...my 7.1 USB headset won't work in "Multiplayer"...it will work in "Campaign"...Anyone else have the G35 and is ABLE to use it in Multiplayer (for the actual game sounds, not chat) ?

Double check all your in-game settings something must be set incorrectly. If you see nothing wrong try renaming the players folder and booting to see if it works. If it does rebind keys/redo your settings and use that players folder.

If that doesn't work does it work in stereo?

Hi, I also have a G35 Logitech headset and it is also not working. I don't know what is wrong but it just turns off then on again in the middle of stuff like videos and games. It gets real annoying bcuz i would lose sound and being able to talk. Please HELP!!
