Why is this game so expensive?!

It usually costs 60 Euros. 60 EUROS! Not a single game on Steam is as expensive as Modern Warfare 3 and Black Ops 2. I don't want to say that every Call of Duty is the same because I like CoD and it's not that bad but you can already get Black Ops 2 on consoles for 50 Euros. On release I got it for 55 Euros.

And even on sale Activision still stays greedy and charges the "normal" price of 50 for a game that should be at least 30€ on sale.

Great and amazing games cost 50 € normally and now they're 50% off and cost 25€ like Skyrim and even Hitman Absolution which is as new as Black Ops 2.

Please make this game for at least 30€ on sale and 50€ without sale.

I mean.. Come on, Activision. You made 1 billion dollars profit with Black Ops 2 in TWO weeks. TWO weeks. That's nothing. Make it 30€ and lots and lots more people will get it just like me maybe. But making (even Modern Warfare 3!!!) for 60€ for no actual reason which I could possibly follow is just pure greed. Even XCOM, Borderlands 2, Hitman, Skyrim, Dishonored, Far Cry 3 cost 50 bucks.

Some collection like the one from THQ are only 25€ with 22(!!!) games in it even with Darksiders 2 which came out this summer!

It is unbelievable what Activision is bulling of. Just unbelievable and unacceptable. I mean its not even like that Call of Duty only comes out every 5 years and has a new engine with new graphics every year. They're more like updates and you still charge that much money even if you already made 1 BILLION dollars. Wow.....

I mean... Even Black Ops 1 which came out two years ago still cost the same price as Black Ops 2 and Modern Warfare 3. No one even plays the old CoDs properly anymore beside CoD 4 and MW2 maybe. Why still charge 60€?? There are too much hackers. Activision doesn't even check the servers properly to sort out hackers properly.

Black Ops 2 should cost 50€ since release like every other retail game too. (sale for 40€)
Modern Warfare 3 also 50€ because it's still new and enjoyable. (sale for 30€)
Black Ops 1 should be 30€ just like Modern Warfare 2. (sale for 20€)
World at War and CoD4 should be 20€
And the older CoDs should cost just 10€.

Most of the really old games are even on sale for not even 4€. Why should CoD 1? Only because its from Activi$ion?! Thats just a ripoff and nobody should buy it.

I imagine because there are people out there who want to jump into the action right away and are even willing to gut their wallet to do so. can't imagine any game that's 7 years old to still be that expensive. then again, Space Marine, a game that came out earlier than this, is still usuallly it's original price- 30 dollars (much less on steam sales though ofc) and that's with no DLC.
