Can you play Black ops 2 in your PC against xbox users?

That is an entirely separate thing that desl with GFWL and windows 8 with xbox live.

Cross platform support for BO2 doesn't exist.

Yes, there is no way to play vs xbox live with the pc..

What in the word are you talking about. This game is in no way connected with GFWL. And who know what windows 8 has anything to do with it. multiplayer matchmaking happens with steam.

Microsoft was 'opening up' xbox live into the Microsoft store contained within Windows 8.The idea was to extend the xbox live experience (again...) into the desktop market via the Windows store in windows 8. The whole thing is incredibly convoluted as it says 'xbox games' when they're not really xbox games, and a whole bunch of other confusing terminology mixing. It's another good idea with botched execution
