problem enabling cheats
How do I get the command console to show up in the single player mode so I can input the cheats? I tried to find the file: config.cfg, open it with text editor, then modify the SETA MONKEYTOY so that it says "0" like it says to do. But the only file I could find is: config.vdf. The text editor function doesn't work for that. I need help. What can I do? The cheat mode would help me to get through some very tough levels.

Well none of you are of any help! I'm stuck trying to get P.O.T.U.S. to the bunker before the bridge collapses, but I can only get so far before the game stops and I automatically start going backwards and up and down. Then I can't do anything. And by the way Nu Shotz, I got this as a gift for chistmas from my family. I'm not about to delete it.

go to contolpanel programs unninstall call of duty black ops 2 all of them and press delete

Unfortunately you can't enable the console.
The config file is not editable and doing so would violate the terms of our anti-cheat policy.

Why? You can enable the console in call of duty 4, and black ops. And if you are using it in singal player its not hurting anyone.

This is not Call of Duty 4 or Black Ops 1.
The console was removed for Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

I know I'm asking why. I like to messaround in zombies And I would like to know what exactly why it was disabled from this game.

Unfortunately this is just a watered down, console ported game for the PC. The days of using console for this title is over, has been that way for a while.

The console was removed from the game for anti-cheat purposes. Any performance related options commonly used by the community [aside from Campaign Cheats] are available in the in-game options menu.

If the story, zombies, and multiplayer are diffrent exe's is there a way to mabye add a cheater mode to future treyarch games?
