black ops 2 not opening at all

Wasn't like this til a Windows 11 update, now it just says "updating executable" and then not opening. Anyone else having this issue?

Happened to me too.
What fixed it for me was.......
Verify files till they all pass.
Close Steam.
Restart computer.
Start Steam.
Game now runs.
Just verifying files didnt work. Had to restart computer and Steam.
Im on windows 10 tho.

Another day when a windows update breaks CoD all over again eh? Not like every single update seems to be an issue, what now I wont let you use my precise location for every stupid thing on my PC I can't run games is it? Seriously fck Microsoft and their crappy updates ffs, pointless and seems slower every fkin update recently. S.S.D.D

Got it running, right click t6mp.exe, properties, compatibility with Windows 7 is the needed option.

Works for MP but not campaign or zombies.
