zombies and multiplayer not starting?!

I bought the game on steam and singleplayer runs fine! but multiplayer and zombies are not staring. the loading tab of steam appears and then it will just do nothing. well it the loading tab will just restart every time automaticly. Why doesn't it work???!! D: the game was 60 euro's man!

not a single one of that options solved the problem. i tried them all out today.
what i tried also was installing the game on a different pc and it was working fine.
So i know the problem is on my pc and not my steam account or something like that.
Does multiplayer use different drivers or something like that? i re installed my graphic drivers and direct x driver and vc redist. nothing works.

Black ops 1 works fine and modern warfare 3 too. this is the first game that gives me this problem

Okay. On the your pc check that the firewall or AV is not blocking Mp and Zm.
Also check for the latest Windows updates.

could you maybe tell me how to check that? i pretty much don't know how to control firewall. it's on thats all i know.
My virus scanner is avg and turned that off and that did not realy help so that is not blocking it.

and maybe good to know too is that i finally got an error.
It says the following files are causing the problem:
C:\Users\Guitar Chaos\AppData\Local\Temp\WER88FD.tmp.WERInternalMetadata.xml
C:\Users\Guitar Chaos\AppData\Local\Temp\WERC9F4.tmp.appcompat.txt
C:\Users\Guitar Chaos\AppData\Local\Temp\WERCA71.tmp.mdmp
when i click the error away the files go away too. i don't know but..
The error came when i reinstalled the direct x drivers

1.You can either reinstall the Dx files from within the BLOps 2 Game folder.
2.Go to Microsoft's website and download the latest DirectX end user Runtime installer.

DO NOT have steam running when installing it.

Are you using Windows 7 firewall?

To check the firewal settings.
Control panel > System and Security > Windows Firewall > Allow a progam through Windows Firewall.

if i go there it sais all the black ops 2 exes t6mp t6zm and t6sp are all in the allowed list.

Okay. That means something else is blocking access.
Try turning the Steam in-game overlay off.
View > settings > in-game > uncheck the box.

Finally!! it works now. steam overlay was blocking it. now i really use that so it doesnt matter for me to have it off.
Finally able to play! still weird steam overlay is blocking it because on the other pc i had it on.
