RCE/RAT BO2

Is there still a rce/rat exploit in bo2 or any other exploits that could somehow get my computer infected with a virus or my steam account vacced? I know with mw2 there is or used to be an issue where you could get vacced or rce/rat’d by playing the game online. Is this also the case for bo2 or has activison finally fixed it for this game or both games?

you right, they probably dont care at all. im surprised valve allows mw2 and bo2 to even be on steam tho since it seems like both have the exploit. oh well, guess ill use plutonium

at one point in last year, I guess treyarch had partially limited the use of theater feature, just for preventing exploiters who were using certain replays to get cheats; but even these days, I occasionally read about people who experience their BO2 or even PC crashes due to RCE. it looks like said trouble in BO2 still continues for people who are unlucky enough to come across cheaters who use them in multiplayer. as the game is pretty old and doesn't earn as much money as fresh CoD titles, it's very unlikely for activision/treyarch releasing an ultimate solution. such a shame...

the sad thing is, they could be making a lot of money off their old games if they just lowered the price, updated the anti cheat, and fixed the rce/rat exploits on some of them like mw2 and bo2. I know a lot of people who were thinking of buying an older cod game but didn't just because of the price or the amount of cheaters on them, such a shame they forget about the old games once the new ones come out
