Anyone know if this game functions right on the deck?

it runs great for the most part. An issue that i ran into made it not start at all but you just need to use another proton setting.

What proton setting made it work? I just tried to get the campaign to work on a desktop Linux install and it only ever was able to boot into the first video but froze a half second into it. I tried Proton 8, 7, 6, and Experimental and only zombies would ever get to a menu screen.

Is there a launch option argument I need to put into it? I'm fairly new to gaming on Linux, last time I used Linux(~10 years ago) proton didn't even exist. If you are able to let me know what configuration you used to run the game, your help would be greatly appreciated.
