BO2 or BO3?

Which one should I buy? I plan on buying one of them when the summer sale rolls around.

BO2 does not involve any jumping around with somekind of Jet-jump-pack, while BO3 has that feature in multiplayer and campaign, BO3 is also heavier for computer ressources. BO3, you can customize your loadout and buffs in campaign, BO2 you can make choices around in the campaign. Thats about what I can think of them for now. Both are really fun.

Does the campaign take place after BO2 or is it just it's own story?

Put it this way, Black Ops 2 doesn't run very well because it's an old game, black ops 3 doesn't run very well because it's a new game, at least in black ops 2 as people have said you dont come around a corner and find iron man, hacking floating in the air and zooming around. Get Black Ops 2, but then rip Unknown Soilder hackers which destroy games. Your call, kills + hackers, no kills + fps drops. :)

If you have the computer to run it and you like zombies get bo3 hands down but I don't recommend buying cod on pc for the multiplayer thats what console are for. bo3 if i remember is its own thing when it came to the main campaign.

i have both games, and honestly i like bo3 better. bo3 is more fun and easier for starters because the playerbase is varied. in bo2 it is more like you have to be an insane fps player or u die alot. i struggled with bo2 more, but campaign is better. zombies are better in bo3. i didnt use to enjoy playing bo3 cuz my pc ran it poorly, but now my pc runs it at stable 60 fps @ 1080p @ low/medium settings.(gtx 1050). bo2 runs at 1080p @ max settings @ 160fps for me. bo2 harder, yet has its pros. bo3 wayy more fun, yet has some mp connection problems.

Black Ops 2 is really cancer. The campaign's storyline is weird and stupid. Multiplayer is even less balanced than any other game's.

I haven't played BO3, but as people said, it has this weird future setting and as I have played IW I can say, it sucks. Better get WW2 or wait for BO4 and hope they gonna learn out of their mistakes.

If your pc could handle bo4 i would recommend it cuz the gameplay is so good and the launcher is blizzard so yeah there will be less cheater (even no cheater maybe) and better multiplayer experience and theres a rumor that says it will have the biggest zombie in the cod history. It also has a battleroyale game mode called blackout which many youtubers are hyped about. So yeah i would recomand this game and by the way the game has about the same price as cod ww2 and bo3. Note that bo4 has no campaign.

If you have a decent AMD 6-core processor and an Nvidia GTX770 you can run Two 1920X1080 monitors off of that. Black ops 2 runs like a bat outta hell on that one while I run steam in the background.
