Can't fly with the Buried Paralyzer weapon

I heard the buried paralyzer was patched and no longer allows you to fly. Is this true or false?

on ps3 you can fly but on pc i think they removed it or at least made a limit to how high you can fly, just found this out now

no they didnt i thought so as well turns out you just need to cap you fps i was running v sync off getting 500 fps and it didnt work synced with my monitor(144) and it fine now a little higher would prolly be fine too like 165 idk where the cut off is but uncapped high fps breaks it and anything lower 60 120 etc is fine as well

yeah, in Black Ops 2 (and also several old CoDs on PC), physics engine of the game is tied to framerate, so having very high fps values (200+) can affect certain gameplay features, such as jump height and footstep sounds. as @Outis explained above, players should test different fps caps while using Paralyzer, to see which one works the best for their setup.
