cross platform? PC(Steam) with Xbox?

Thinking about getting this because i have friends that still play on Xbox 360.. is it cross platform .. would i be able to play with them i.e me on my pc and them on the 360s..... before i spand 60 bucks.. seeing as its way 2 much to begin with .. would like to be for shure.... thanks.. :)

No, cross-platform gaming is non-existent for games, between PC and consoles, as far as I know. Black Ops 2 or even any FPS game doesn't support this, as well. That's probably because of technical difficulties and the keyboard & mouse versus gamepad comparison is very much in favor of keyboard & mouse. This is an important factor for developers for preventing to make cross-platform possible, especially for first-person shooter games. There are many cross-platform games which can be played with Windows, Mac and Linux. But this kind of cross-platform is totally different, though. As they're all computers with different operating systems.
