As with all characters, mirrors + terrain make for a powerful combo. I also like to get rid of one of my 6D boost, if I can find a 4d boost, which I can bump up all sides to 2. On lisver's board especially, the 2 boost can cover quite a few squares.
In general, I'd recommend going with a small deck with "double dip" modifiers, letting me draw most, if not all, of my die each turn, with a rough idea of what I'm going to get.
What makes lisver unique, is they can deal damage and kill enemies with their passive poison. I'd get rid of two of your starting attack die, and pick up an extra block, plus a mirror and terrain.
thank you so much! and yeah mirrors and 2 boosts are a huuuuuuge help with lisver. i discovered how feral it could get thanks to an event that let me change all my mirror's sides to 2 last run.
i'll definitely keep your "ditch your attack die" tip in mind going forward. i definitely had a super bloated deck last time around.
1. Retain shield (doing 2 damage to you per turn)
2. Deal 1/2 shield value as damage to the targeted enemy
My die pool both times was similar and simple. I had 2 defence die and perhaps 1 boost die, 1 mirror, 1 terrain and 1 regen or heal. It became somewhat trivial to build up huge shield reserves and thus knock out enemies.
I may have even removed entirely attack die, and I certainly had a maximum of 7 die, with the result that I could always count on drawing defence die.
The relics that retain your hand between turns and add +1 to die that are retained would be a terrific help to this approach too.
