Speed hopper
Isn't the Speedhopper achievement really difficult? Do you have any tips for clearing the game within 40 minutes?

I used this strategy by the way, plus keyboard shortcuts. Quickly right-clicking the heavy flash die also casts it quicker. I got lucky with an early Flash property (keeping in mind you start with a heavy attack dice) and ended up finishing in 28mins, without stressing much about time.

Does anyone know if loading times count towards it? If so there is like 10 minutes loss through whole run. For me it takes 15 secs to load stages in later levels.
Also there is difference between achievement in game (50min) and achievment on Steam (40min), any clues why?
I tried using an external timer and loading times 100% count towards the end time. Make sure to send feedback to the devs and talk about it in the community, because having these long loading times count for that is just awful.

Just because other games have achievements that require certain settings, doesn't make it any better. It just means that it's a recurring issue that people need to talk more about.
Just save at the final boss close the game and edit the runtime back to 0. Putting time achievements that unlock things in a turn based game is awful.

Except there's an unlock tied to the achievement. If it was JUST an achievement, I wouldn't really care, but once there is content locked behind it, it becomes a problem. I don't personally intend to cheat, but I completely respect those who choose to get the achievement through cheating.

It absolutely does that's how I did it.

The save game is a json file you can save out after starting the final boss and open it up and look for "currentTime" and change the value.

just wanted to drop a late thank you, tried a few times with cinder, to fail in the 40-50 min range. first tried it with mango with a 32 min time. good ♥♥♥♥.
