About "Hidden Talents"
To my understanding the chance for this to happen is 1% and only if the character is in active training. There are only two possible outcomes, "Magically Talented" and "Talented Swordsman" with the latter only working with two handed swords.

Imho there should be more possible talents and they should be tied to a class as they are quite useless for other classes.

I may or may not have spent 25% of my total playtime reloading and hoping for the best....

you're forgetting the best one, just "talented".
The game has a lot of perks. Sure we could all nick pick and add a few more. or balance a little. But listen to me my friend. this will become a overblown maths heavy discussion really soon.
Just accept that you were not the person who made the game, and the dev is happy (as he should be) with the end result. Look for the perks you like, avoid the ones you dont.
I see neither nitpicking nor a math discussion in my post.

What I see is a game that got like 10 patches in the last 2 months tweaking stuff so I dont see the development already finished.

Do I think that my ideas have to makle it into the game? No.

Do I think its wrong to have a discussion about the game in a game discussion forum? Also no.

It also works with one-handed swords.

Which doesn't help the Defender or Guardian or paladin much, as all their skills are Shield based or Holy Magic based instead, so they just get a bonus to their basic attack. But it does help the Swordmaster.

Would be a bit weird if the Swordmaster didn't benefit from being a Talented Swordsman, after all. :-)

Probably not related, from what comes those "hidden"(?) talents:
- Workoutaholic
- Strange Memories

Is the chance to get a hidden talent exposed in the .ini file?

Strange memories comes from a random unique event in the old fortress (IIRC) map.

You come across a mysterious body lying there, and can have one of your characters investigate it. Whoever does gets that trait.

Ok thanks, so if I fire the adventurer I'll have the event respawn? I think remind a dev comment saying in this cases only the puppy event never respawn.

So Workoutaholic is unknown?

EDIT:
Workoutaholic adds +40% STR grow and the descriptions seems evoke an influence on guild but it could be just ambient text.

It comes from an adventurer encountering the "Strong man", found in the woods, and nobody in the party having the "Strong" trait. The "Strong man" then mocks them like Vegeta telling them to come back when they are stronger, which triggers the trait to be bestown to a random(?) adventurer on your team. [If I recall correctly, the one to receive the trait "Workoutaholic" also possessed "Healthy Body". Perhaps it is a precursor..?]

Once someone figures out the condition, I'll add it to the guide.

No, Healthy Body isn't a precursor of Workoutaholic or isn't the only one.

Arrogant, Nimble, Hotblooded, perhaps Talented Swordmanship could have been precursor for my case.

For the link with the event, it's possible, didn't noticed/remind, was with one of the very first characters.
Arrogant or hotblooded would make sense

Lol, I regret not have see the event clearly, the involved character was special along first weeks generating a lot of troubles in guild despite not being the only arrogant.

I agree for arrogant not much for hotblooded that is more instant reactions.
