Strange Memories?

I've seen this trait discussed a fair bit already and it sounds safe, but just wanted to confirm, is there any drawbacks to this trait? The adventurer who has it isn't going to randomly die or be cursed or something later?

They just randomly become unavailable for a few days every now and then.

Elan managed to pick this up in my game. He left for 7 days a few days after picking up the trait and then came back and there's been nothing wrong with him since.

Gave it to Elan in my game too, made it to the end without any ill effects other than him disappearing for a few days once. Seems like it's only positive after that
