Boost movement speed high, take the skill that buffs damage on move, shoot people in the face at point blank range and then hide in the shadows to avoid the counterattack.
With a Beastmaster build you can also summon a bear to chew off the faces of any survivors. But this needs minimal investment in skillpoints, you mostly focus on shooting.
Add monk movement/true damage skills and special arrows for fun and profit.
You could even add in the legendary magic arrow item to add more damage types. Or try to add in poison. But I personally do not bother with either of those, since you need your skillpoints for stuff other than poison, and you are already drowning in combat abilities.
Maybe not quite as good at map-clearing as a Reaper, but very fun.
New Favorit of mine is the Arcane Knight. u need a lot for him to get on par with a regular Dragon Knight - but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ its so much fun.
- u definitely need a talent character (i got one with quick and rational) not a perfect combo but decent.
- Moonsword is a huge power spike
- And the Arcane sheath is the second
- Infernal Armor takes ur pretty good movement to the next level.
- Atm i play with the Knight Badge for the second Trinekt - maybe i find a better one
I find that arcane knights benefit a lot from the legendary items that set a stat to 40. (either strength or int, depending on which needs the help.) Unless you have a talented character with boosts to both intelligence and strength, and then add multiple traits to boost those stats, it's very hard to get a character that has great stats in both.
Much easiest to get a character that is just good at 1 stat (Strength, probably) and then use an item slot to boost the other stat to a very respectable 40 points.
Some items are definitely crucial - another good example is the"Techniques of the floating River" sheet (PAB scales with Dexterity instead of Strenght) for Swordsmaster - dam thats like playing a different class form that moment u equip it. Same for Hunter and Monk but not as hardcore.
Classes are not OP with this item - only as strong as the other ones.
@Dev such a item with a downscaling for a rare and epic version would be nice or gloves as a weapon item slot for monks.
Doing more damage than a mage, and for only 2AP for each spell (including the fireball equivalent). If you run any melee folks, you can drop a an AOE heal on them when they are in the middle of a group of enemies, and both hurt the enemies and refill your ally's MP/HP at the same time.
And if you run into any invisible folks, you can always take a turn to give everyone true sight first.
Yea I think the quack saint is definitely the MVP especially on higher difficulty
