Question about event trait repeatability
Hello, I wanted to know wether the traits that you gain from map events can be gained multiple times for differentcharacters. From reading here I know that some definitely can like "Veteran Knowledge", but what about more drastic ones, for example "Strange Memories" which I saw in a video.
I want to know in advance before starting the game, as that would change my playstyle drastically. I would attempt to min-max, thus if event traits wouldn't repeat I would not trigger events at all as long as my favorite two Mana Core adventurers aren't in the party for example. Other measures might be delaying level ups, and main quest, so I can chase down many good events on the small starting maps quickly.

If all event traits are repeatable however, I would probably just play normally, since you could raise a good adventurer whenever you get them to full potential.

I suggest reading this very good guide. There is a section which describes which events are unique like the "Strange memories" and which ones are repeatable like "Veteran Knowledge".

Huii, I had to scroll past most of it to not spoil all the content like advanced classes, but by searching the document I immediately found that one sentence that answers all I need:
Note : Unique traits from events (like Crystal Eye, Ifrit, strange memories...) are also supposed to come back if the adventurer who has it dies/leaves/is fired/etc... (ie : the event will become available again).
The only exception seems to the wolf pup event.
While it would still be annoying to have a character essentially 'death marked' if I had to give it to the wrong person because the best was not in the party, it is great to know that events can at least be repeated this way. I applaud the developer for this wise design decision. Great foresight.

Thank you for the guide, this answered it all.

I actually also had this question, though it was more I was bummed out because I had an unlucky death and lost my character who had the crystal eye trait. So its reassuring to know I may find it again and once again have it in my roster. Cheers!
