However, there is a setting in the difficulty setting to remove the 95% and 5% hit chance caps. You just need to go the general settings and change your difficulty to custom and check the box for no hit chance cap. This way you can at least reach 100% hits.
So coming out of the camp ambush my team is in as bad shape as they went into comp. It took 6 rounds to kill 5 bandits ... and I'm over the recommended quest lvl.
BPs are a resource. Hoarding it when it is needed is not a great idea.
Speaking for myself, in the late game's story missions, I use 10 BPs to bring the chance to 100% in more attacks than not.
I use it on a 95% chance if I NEED the attack to work.
My mage just super-charged a fireball with his empowerment staff and ring of fire penetration? Yeah, 5% or no, I'm not accepting that risk.
Boss is down to its last sliver of health and I have one more chance to kill it? I don't care what the percentage says, I get it to 100%.
But for normal attacks it's indeed not worth it.
