By the way, when I say "character focused", I don't mean that it has to be heavy on the narrative side (I would prefer it that way, but it's not strictly necessary), but, at least, if there's an active MC, it'd actually feel like an RPG, instead of just a strategy game, which seems to be what this game actually is.
Because that's not what the game's trying to do
There's a billion "ragtag adventurer becomes strong" stories, there's a sore lack of "adventurer guild manager" games that are actually good
There is recognition in the story of the main character doing things in their role. It just that their role is leader not, not manual laborer.
