The loadingscreen art of the 2handed sword girl in a tutu drives me crazy.
Anyway really greatful for the game.
I wouldn't mind more hair/face options though.
And the writing is funny enough alone to make up for any shortcomings. The demo sold me on buying the full game very easilly. A lot of love in here.
Even though I loved the game from the start it still became far better because of those reworks.
But they had a guy solely for that reason.
And there are many variables to consider, I would guess.
But when actually playing it works a lot better than it seems. The poses are pretty expressive, the equipment shown on the characters looks nice, it's very clear and recognisable so you're never confused about which character you look at.
I still don't like the art but I like how it works? I have a hard time describing it. Kind of like a "greater than the sum of its parts thing? It's weird, but I'll take it.
I suspect that from a marketing perspective some more refined character art would help sell the game, but then again I know precisely zilch about marketing. Demo and good reviews may well make a bigger difference.
