The game made it clear you only get one shot at the quest, but maybe its different if she's not actually there.
If you do get another shot at it, make sure the entire party is friends with her with at least 1 person at 'best friends' level to get the most options.
Misasa's not part of my primary party, but I would like to be able to be able to complete that quest for the achievement.
Suggestion:
Rather than a warning, for quests like this, could we have a slot that is fixed for the character that must be brought?
Good suggestion. I'll add it in a future patch.
Glad to hear it!
And just a hope: Is there's any way Misara's quest can be reactivated/fixed in my Very Hard Ironman save? Or am I completely out of luck?
Done! Thank you!
Well yeah. You were told to bring people that liked her.
So you missed out on removing her curse and/or her fleeing from battle thing.
The Divine Messenger told you to in the conversation that opened the quest up.
No idea on save editing.
In that case, did you also miss out on Alissa's request to be in the fight against the bandit leader? 😅
My wife forgot to bring her. Mainly because she listened to my advice about making sure she was leveled enough before doing that mission, So she forgot about Alissa asking by the time she got to it.
...Until I walked by her comp 3/4 through the fight and noticed she wasn't there.
Luckily she was able to go back to a save right before the mission.
It happens.
Also, what happens with the demon mark? I have 80 hours in the game so restarting isn't an option for me :(
If Alissa is at the Bandit King fight then the negative trait she has becomes 'Hopeful.' Also if she's there, you can recruit Misasa without a skill check.
For Misasa's quest there's a few results. One is she decides to keep the curse and gets a better version of it that removes her fleeing combat. Or you can choose to get in one of the most unfair fights in the game and if you win it removes the curse, gives a new trait ('Loyal to friends') and you get an achievement.
