Are there ways to remove completely negative traits?
Specifically looking to get rid of 'Pessimist' on Misasa.
Honestly life couldn't be better for her right now. She's best friends with everyone in her party. She's in a romance with someone who loves her and she's gotten rid of her demonic curse. But she still makes Eeyore seem upbeat.

But there are a few other traits among my team I wouldn't mind doing something about. Selene getting 'Cursed' on my playthrough was too funny not to keep, but it seems to pop up a bit more than 5% (which makes me think RNG is cursed too.)

While we're here, in a second unrelated question, is there any 'benefit' to your adventurers being 'rivals' with someone? Other than free injuries, that is. Trying to decide if should fix Daryl's hatred of another member or keep it going.

Hi

AFAIK, no way to remove "curse". However some negative traits can randomly disappear in the hub, the same way some random ones can appear. "Weak" for instance can disappear. Not sure about Misasa's "pessimist".

RNG isn't rigged. Our perception is ;-).

AFAIK no benefit from negative relationships, actually just poor events and lower chance of chain attacks.

Perusing the screenshot section I see that the potion of youth can remove cursed, among other things. But probably don't want to waste it on that.

I was largely joking about RNG. Cursed triggering just usually means Selene just has to burn more BP if its that urgent.

Negative relationships is about what I figured. I was going to get rid of the person Daryl has been fighting with, but since I posted this thread he started getting into similar territory with a more important adventurer. I'm starting to think Daryl is the problem. Based on his background that probably makes sense. Probably some hidden factor on his Lone Wolf trait that makes him a bigger target for negative events & awkward conversations.

Weirdly enough, I just had a negative trait removed after reading this forum. The character in question is one of the first characters I recruited this play through.

Selfish can be removed by finishing the first "ice bride" quest.
I've had a Deathwish removed through a certain event also. Which was a shame, it was useful, I was using it to completely blast stuff with burst damage in one turn with no consequences :D

I don't know of what depends but I have a character with the "weak" trait and one day he just "trained hard and pushed off his límits" and the trait was removed
