Strange potion

I want to use the strange potion on my main warrior, but I don't want to completely ruin them (this is iron man). Are the side effects character ruining and permanent?

A good question. I just found that potion and had my swordmaster drink it. If it turns out to ruin him, I'll let you know.

So far it just does as advertised, but I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I got a random town event where the swordmaster attacked the party paladin and attempted to drink her blood. This did... not improve their relationship.

Still, what's a little blood-drinking between friends? So far nothing ruinous, to be sure.
