Skip turn button is right next to the camera direction button.
As stated, I've had this mishap a few times, where I skipped a players turn during a fight because I was attempting to move the camera to the right. I'm not sure how easy it would be to change it's map key -- but it should be changed.

I can see that being a problem, with the F-key being close to the D-key and maybe I should change the standard bining. But until then you are able to remap the key in the setting.
