Injured Wolf Event + Alissa question
So there's this injured wolf event where if I try to help it, it bites and gives a negative trait to the person it bites. Can it actually be saved by someone with the right trait?

The Alissa question, I saw that there is a way to get rid of her trauma by taking her on a specific story mission...the problem IS she decided to join me AFTER I finished that mission. Is that mission the only way?

Thanks in advance.

Pure_poetry Guide is really good lots of spoilers there......the trait you need is "Kind" before the injured wolf event

It is the only way.

But are you certain she joined you after? That should not be possible.

Note that there are several story missions where you fight bandits, and the one where she can lose the trait is the THIRD of them. She joins after the FIRST.

Is the third mission after the bandit king?
I defeated the bandit king and although Alissa asked to come on the mission there was no change in her trauma debuff.

I was wondering if I needed to keep the bandit rogue the party met in the fortress through the whole mission to trigger the trauma removal.
Unfortunately, she got tagged and bailed partway through the last battle.
Just out of curiosity, is that rogue a potential guild member if she survives the mission?

Yes, she is a unique character. If you find her Arms wrestling Master trait, she will be one of the strongest Sword Master candidates. And Reaper/Assassin is always a good fall back still. Only Elan with stacked traits and other very specific trait combination would have a higher priority over her for Sword Master.

It's ok if she bails during the mission. She will still approach. But it's not ok if she gets killed.

It is a bit unfortunate that players may feel compelled to reload and retry multiple times to clear the mission without her bailing -- when the mission is probably the most difficult mission of the whole game by a large margin.

If you are not on ironman, you can always try clearing the mission, pass the turn a couple times to see the effect and then reload. Just a thought.

Thanks for the reply. She definitely bailed without getting killed.
So hopefully she will show up at the guild.

No, the third mission where you face bandits, which IS the one to kill the bandit king. (First is to save the village, second to rescue the expedition, third to kill the bandit king.)

I defeated the bandit king and although Alissa asked to come on the mission there was no change in her trauma debuff.

If you brought her on the mission, a day or two after or so there will be an event where the trait is removed and replaced with a good one.

(If you did not bring her, it will not get removed.)

Unrelated to Alissa's trauma.

Thanks. It seems that all Alissa needed was a day to process the event.

The rogue did show up at the guild a few days later with a lot of issues. I'm hoping there will be a "guild shrink" upgrade added at some point. :P

It's just a random event with an injured wolf puppy.

No prerequisite. You can get it on day 2 or on day 120, it's random.
