The keyboard work the menu's so I at least assume they work in game, but I'm not playing a game like Sonic on keyboard. From a topic or two I read, 360 controller is supposed to be THE controller to use and others would require one of those separate programs to connect the controller, but it just doesn't do anything when I switch. It's not a huge loss if I can't play this game, I got it for 10 bucks among a bunch of others with the Humble Bundle, but it's kinda ridiculous it isn't working this long after release.
Maybe a Win 10 issue?
There you can switch input from keyboard to controller
Went into properties, enabled steam input. As suggested, switched input in Player 1 tab to controller. It works fine now. PS4 conroller
