How I claimed this clue for the summer sale event

Hopefully it gets fixed by then but I did this as I stated on Reddit

How To Claim This Clue (And Possibly Others Through This Workaround)

For the clue "You’ll find riches in rhythm, and fame in six string. But beware the tax burden axe mastery brings."

The answer is Guitar Billionaires but as of this comment you can't find it through searching the Steam store in client or browser.

However I found a work-around. If you go from your clue page and try 'finding it' or going to the Store homepage in client, up top go hover on the categorizes drop-down and click "Arcade & Rhythm", then add "Shooters" and it should be under either "New & Trending" or "Discounted."

You might have to click "Show More" a few times to see it, I can't remember if I did, maybe only once or twice. If it's not their try adding "Shoot em up" it's a subcategory just underneath the main categories and try again, maybe remove Shooters if that still doesn't work or put 'guitar' in the search box - the one near the sale items not the main search on the top right.

Once you claim the clue it should disappear from this method but it is still claimed to your account.

I assume the other clues have similar work-arounds until this gets fixed.

The other clues you can find via search engine or on a bunch of sites "steam summer sale 2022 clues."

Before that once you go to the Arcade & Rhythm section (from the Categories section all the way on the top of the store) scroll down and add "Rhythm" and "Shoot 'em up"

The game doesn't seem to be on the Steam store for me. Following this method doesn't make it appear.

No, that doesn't work. It won't come up when I type it in.

It's not supposed to show the store page, following that method just makes it show up on the sale search (not the normal Steam search) and then you just click "Click me" to take your reward. After that it won't show up anymore and there's no store page for now until they fix it, even though the cover showed a 50% discount it was enough for me to claim my badge.

I'll probably use this method to grab the other clues if some of them also have issues. Removing "Hide ignored items" from the filters may also help, but who knows I guess it works for OP and me but not for everyone.

Ok I'm just saying it worked for me. It could be million different reasons why. We could have different filters, ignored items, step done incorrectly or there's a specific order we're all doing different or more likely it's just a workaround that's working for some and not others. Either way, worked for me and OP.

I also found the clue to the next game. Looks like they're all having the same problems so far and oddly enough show up as TH currency (Thai Baht) so maybe Thai users will have an easier time or using a VPN server in Thailand?

For Clue #2:

1. Go to Steam store (I did in client)

2. Scroll slightly down to BROWSE THE SALE BY GENRE OR THEME and click on "Strategy Games" (On the sale page if you scroll you might be able to go straight to step 3 in the City & Settlement section and continue on from there if this step doesn't work.

3. Then click on "City & Settlement" after scrolling down a tiny bit.

4. Scroll down and click "Narrow by" to open the filters list.

5. Type in "Economy" and add it to the filters.

6. Click on the "Upcoming" tab and scroll down like a dozen times until you find "Custard Castle Small Claims Court" (you can't search for it, you might find it in this section by scrolling down, also 50% in Thai currency even though I'm in Aus/use AUD) and then "Click me" to get your badge and on to the next clue.

It looks like the point is indeed you're not supposed to find any of these games on search. I got three down, just kept clicking "show more" a couple of times, refreshed if it didn't pop up and repeated. Just lucky tries, it looks like your "workaround" was also up to chance. May work, may not.

For Clue #3:

1. Make sure when starting clues you click "Go find it!"

2. This took me to the Sports sale page. Click on the "Realistic" tab.

3. Scroll down to the "Fishing" section of covers.

4. Claim "Bass Ain’t Bitin’ 2022" (this will also disappear like the others if you try to find it

Just got my 5th, and yep, its just a game of chance, folks. Be patient and keep going.

They can also be random since some people get pages with different categories so there's some RNG but you can work it well easily most of the time.

If you're using the site in Firefox Developer console you can claim them all using these scripts, depending on which way you want to do it.

UPDATE: I got it all down. It gets a bit rocky 7th clue onwards, you might have to spam "show more" several times to get the list to drop down. Good luck.
