I've seen the big artillery gun switch to Widowmaker and the drone to Spectre, but that's it.
Correct not all weapons have an evolve
Such as needing to have some other weapon or equipment on the mech for the weapon to be able to evolve at lvl 12?
Those are the ones that sit on top of the mech, rather than at the sides.
That only applies to the Drake mech, which gets automatic evolution as a perk.
Other mechs need to purchase the evolution upgrade and then go to the designated location on the map to finish the process.
Mostly just an extra powerful final rank, minor visual upgrades.
Secondary Weapons - Seems to have nothing right now.
Dreadnought Weapons - Reach Rank 12, then they can appear once again as an "EVO" option when you level up. Which will mark a map location, where you need to go, to complete the evolution.
Significantly improves the function, performance and visual aspect of the skill.
So Dreadnought Weapons is where it's at, hopefully we will see similar things for Secondary Weapons.
