Game starts on wrong monitor
After stopping to play for some time to see where the game goes. I started playing again.
Now the game always starts on my second monitor. So i have to go to window mode drag it over and go back to borderless so its on my main monitor.

Is there a fix for this? Or maybe add a setting to chose the monitor in the options devs?

Would be nice :)

Yeah, this is default windows behavior. Rather than going into settings and changing, leave the full screen mode to borderless. Then Alt Enter, Drag to the right screen, then Alt Enter to go full screen.

It should be fixed.

OK, but will there be an option to choose which monitor it launches to automatically, rather than using the Windows default?

Once it is set, then it should not change, unless your monitor environment changes, and at that point, the game won't know which one to launch either.

I am honestly not sure if it is doable, the best I could do is to add an option to change the target monitor in settings, but it won't be able to know which one is the one you want to play. It will be monitor 1, monitor 2 etc. Monitor 1 might not be monitor 1 the next time...if monitor environment changes. So at that point, it is just easier to alt enter and adjust. It won't change unless you change it again. Just make sure to Alt enter again once you drag the game window to the screen you want.

At least this is what I think is happening...I could be wrong though XD

Also, if you open windows settings, and go to System->Display, select the monitor you want the game to open on in the graphical thing for laying out your monitors near the top of the page, then scroll way down near the bottom of the settings, and you'll see a checkbox labeled "Make this my main display". Tick that checkbox, and now most games will default to that monitor when you launch them.

Right, but Windows' default monitor affects a bunch of other things, so there's a good reason to divorce that from what monitor the game the displays on.

Sure, but all fullscreen games will pop up on the monitor you've set as your main monitor, so I thought I'd point it out. I mean, unless they have a config option specifically for that, but not many do.

In the game use ALT-ENTER to switch to windowed mode. Drag the window to the correct screen. Use ALT-ENTER to return to full screen. Windows should remember this for the future.

Bit late to the party but I find WIN+P is a fast way to turn off my main monitor, this helps as it is OLED and I do not want screen burn in while using the the rmonitor
