How can you reach level 100?

Can't seem to do it.

Last map is also very hard with the 20% more xp mech, haven't been able to win a round with that one.

Unlock Hyper mode (by beating the regular map)
This will cause way more mob spawns (so it becomes easier to get xp)
I advise a short range build (for easy xp pickups)
First mech with 3x (or 4)x the spinning orb evolution will kill all regular mobs with ease.

As the end boss in hyper mode spawns, try to kite and keep killing regular mobs for xp.
You can keep the boss at bay by attacking him with a low lvl ranged weapon that does nearly no dmge (knockback/makes him use his attack animation).

Whatever you do, do not pick drones (it's evolution) as they will murder the boss in seconds so you can't farm xp.

Tried using the first mech on Hypermode with the ice map. 4 Cosmic Guardians (outermost evolved to Antimatter Guardian). 1 Flamethrower and 2 Laser Blasters. The Antimatter Guardian was doing 3288 DPS. By comparison the Flamethrower was doing 479 DPS.

Tried to evolve a 2nd Guardian but couldn't get to it. The circle blockers kept spawning repeatedly. Then these big, 4 legged, lobster looking bugs started spawning. They just soak damage and wasn't doing enough of it. Died at level 57.

I finally got it on the second map. Took me a few tries. Won with shotgun, 4x evolved guardian, 2x that bouncy laser. Max reactor, armor and mobility.

These circle blockers are indeed quite annoying. Hard to see too when the whole screen is full of enemies. Was able to blast through a few, they can be killed before they despawn.

Had also invested two points in emergency shields. Wouldn't have survived if I hadn't.

Another attempt same mech, hyper and ice map. 4 Drone Pods (1 evolved to Spector). 1 Shotgun and 2 Laser Blasters. Spector did 1389 DPS. Shotgun did 456 DPS.

Reached level 48. Circle blockers were less of a problem this time. Started running and was unable to kill enough to level effectively.

It's a neat game. Wonder what more is to come.
All these 'reverse bullet hell' games lately are a lot of fun imo.

My thanks to everyone who gave tips in this thread. I finally got it in the hyper desert with the speedy mech, two guardians shoulder weapons, two chem tanks, and a shot gun. I also had two reactors, two magnets, and a damage upgrade. Couldn't even kill the bosses at the end with that set up, but I hit 100 about twenty one minutes in.
